Job Responsibilities
- Delegating responsibilities and supervising business operations
- Hiring, training, motivating and coaching employees as they provide attentive, efficient service to customers, assessing employee performance and providing helpful feedback and training opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to client SLAs, including service delivery, timely reporting, and maintaining quality control.
- Prepare reports to update the company on team performance and progress.
- Monitor team members to ensure proper application of training and identify the need for any additional training.
- Facilitate effective communication with clients, ensuring that project updates are provided and issues are promptly resolved.
- Develop strategies to help the team achieve its goals efficiently.

- Establishing and achieving business and profit objectives.
- Accurately code medical charts across various specialties, applying a deep understanding of medical terminology, AMA guidelines, anatomy, physiology, and procedures. Assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10, CM, and special access codes based on medical documentation.
- Associate diagnosis codes with appropriate procedure codes (CPT) and sequence them correctly to ensure accurate reimbursement.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to interpret patient medical records across different specialties.
- Improve operational systems, processes, and policies in alignment with the organization’s mission.
- Play a key role in long-term planning, with a focus on driving operational excellence.
- Ensure monthly invoicing details of the project are sent to the Accounts department on time.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Evaluate team performance and make personnel recommendations, including terminations when necessary.
- Motivate team members to maximize productivity and performance.
- Collaborate with supervisors to set departmental goals and timelines, providing monthly progress updates and addressing barriers to goal completion.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling protected health information.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of team members.
- Resolving conflicts or complaints from customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assign codes to diagnoses and procedures, using ICD (International Classification of Diseases) and CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes
- Review medical charts under the diagnosis and procedure to ascribe the related CPT and ICD-10.
- Ensure that you assign codes based on coding and customer guidelines.
- Proficient coding of outpatient/Inpatient charts across a variety of specialties with over 97% accuracy and as per the turnaround time.
- Follow up with the payer on any documentation that is insufficient or unclear
- Search for information in cases where the coding is complex or unusual
- Receive and review patient charts and documents for accuracy
- Ensure that all codes are current and active
- Participates in coding meetings and education conferences to maintain coding skills and accuracy.
- Ensuring compliance with medical coding policies and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Experience in Coding specialty HCC coding
- Knowledge of the US healthcare industry is desired
- Good knowledge of client-specific process rules and regulatory requirements
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology
- Familiarity with ICD-10 codes and procedures
- Good in oral and written communication skills
